about me

The idea for The Heritage Household began long before there was a name for it.

As a young wife and mother, I deeply desired to build something lasting. I wanted more than simply surviving each day or managing schedules. I longed to create a home that was rooted in Scripture, focused on discipleship, and built with a long-term vision for future generations.

Welcome Friend, I’m Marissa.

Here’s my journey…

For many years, I struggled to find something that brought all the pieces (parenting, homeschooling, organization, and homemaking) together under a biblical vision for the household. I knew that I didn’t want our family to function as a group of individuals simply sharing a house.

I wanted us to become a household team, united in purpose and learning to serve the Lord together.

Over the years, through raising children, homeschooling, homemaking, and learning through both successes and failures, God continued to deepen my conviction that the home matters. I became increasingly passionate about helping other women see that their work is not small or insignificant. The habits, relationships, and rhythms established within the home are shaping generations.

What began as a personal desire to build a faithful home…

Has now grown into a mission to equip other Christian wives and mothers with biblical encouragement and practical tools to build households that know, love, and serve the Lord.

The Heritage Household exists because I wanted what many women still want today: a clear, biblical vision for building something that will outlast us and leave a heritage of faith for generations to come.

My Desire…

More than statistics, my desire has always been to faithfully equip women with biblical truth and practical tools that help them cultivate homes marked by faith, purpose, and peace.
